First stop visit Earthquake Lake. Quake Lake is a lake in the western United States, on the Madison River in southwestern Montana. It was created after an earthquake struck on August 17, 1959, with 28 fatalities. Our Big Sky Zipline is located on the Gallatin River off of Highway 191 between Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana, just over an hour’s drive from West Yellowstone.
