Explore The Hidden Gems Of The Big Sur Coast On This Hiking Adventure

To explore this beautiful coastline with you is our goal, and to introduce you to the incredibly diverse area that is Big Sur is our pleasure! This adventure trip lasts about 6 hours and costs $230.00.


The hiking Adventure is meant to be a multiple site introduction and exploration of the Big Sur Coast. We will be hiking and exploring all along the length of Big Sur including various different ecosystems and varying plant communities. A gourmet picnic lunch is provided and we stop to eat in one of numerous picturesque coves on the ocean. None of the hikes are very long (3 miles max) and are considered to be moderate. Explore Canyons and Hike to a Beautiful Desert Oasis near Palm Springs

If you’ve ever imagined what a desert oasis looks like, it probably looks like the ones here in Indian Canyons nature preserve. It’s incredible to see these lush green oases in contrast to the arid desert landscape. Enjoy a hike in a beautiful desert oasis surrounded by palm trees, flowing water & a seasonal winter waterfall depending on rainfall amount. This trip begins and ends at Andreas Canyon Trailhead at S Palm Canyon Dr, in Palm Springs, CA. The Cahuilla people made these sacred canyons their home for thousands of years & is still part of their land today. It’s always amazing to hear water rushing along the canyon floor & over boulders & birds chirping in the vegetation. Indian Canyons is on the list of the National Register of Historic Places due of it’s cultural significance. Located near the southern boundary of Palm Springs on the eastern side of the San Jacinto Mountains, Indian Canyons has long been recognized as among one of the most significant natural preserves in California’s desert. This trip lasts about 3 hours and costs $66.00.

The hike begins with a visit to Murray Canyon oasis featuring a seasonal steam depending on rainfall amount we’ll cross over the stream several times to checkout the beautiful waterfall in the pics. We’ll then head to Andreas Canyon on a trail that’ll take us up for amazing scenic desert & mountain views overlooking Indian Canyons. When we get to Andreas Canyon we’ll have a look at ancient bedrock mortars where the Cahuilla women prepared food for their family’s, there are also replicas of Kish, which were their hut homes made from palm tree fronds.

The water in Andreas Canyon flows year round & is from a perennial mountain spring 5 miles up in the San Jacinto Mountains and features dramatic rock formations. This is a true desert oasis with lots of great photo ops along the way. During the winter season the endangered Peninsular Bighorn Sheep come down from the mountains to give birth, so if you’re here then hopefully we’ll see some, I’ve seen them here many times before. For more information or to book this activity, click here.

Looking for something different? Hike out to the beautiful Wapama Falls!

The Hetch Hetchy and Wapama Falls Hiking Tour is a tour of Hetch Hetchy, a lesser known part of Yosemite National Park. This tour begins and ends at Evergreen Rd, in Groveland, CA. For more information or to book this hike, click here.

In addition to providing you with natural and geological history, this tour can point out some of the lesser seen ‘gems’ of the park. This is a tour by foot; hiking and walking along the walls of the reservoir to the bridges that span the bottom of the waterfalls. This hike lasts about 8 hours and costs $350.00, per group.

Looking for something different then what is on our regular schedule? Choose this option for a full-day adventure at Hetch Hetchy in Yosemite National Park. Highlights in Hetch Hetchy can include: the O’Shaughnessy Dam, Wapama Falls, and Tueeulala Falls. Of course other prominent geographical features such as Kolana Rock and others will be pointed out during this adventure. Guides carry first aid kits, water purification, toilet paper (for emergencies), sunscreen and bug repellent. Please plan to bring your own lunch, snacks, water bottles, etc. Note: Should weather, fire, and/or delayed seasonal openings affect the chosen itinerary, a different one will be offered. You will be kept in contact through this process.

You will park in one of the parking spots just after you pass the dam. If there is not parking available there, drive back up to the main road and park at the bathrooms before the road descends to the dam. Go On An Off-Road Adventure At Beautiful Lake Arrowhead In California

We Drive – You Ride. We do the driving! An experienced guide will be your driver, leaving you to be able to concentrate on taking pictures and enjoying the scenery. 3 hours of UTV off-roading thru the backside of Lake Arrowhead in the Beautiful San Bernardino Mountains -3 adult size passengers & 1 small child size passenger ( You can mix and match but TOTAL Adult size passengers can only be 3.) Approximately 3 hours of fun. We head straight from the Pinnacle’s OHV Staging area up the mountain to Deep Creek.
