After you two get acquainted, we’ll start galloping towards the West Mitten Butte, where you get to be up close. Take pictures of the East Mitten and Merrick buttes at a distance. When viewed from the south, the buttes appear to be two gigantic mittens with their thumbs facing inwards. If you capture the Merrick Butte at an angle you see that it’s between the West & East Mitten Buttes. All three buttes are commonly seen together in many popular films and images. Its elevation is over 6,200 ft making it one of the tallest buttes in Monument Valley. This trip lasts about an hour and costs $80.00.
