If you’re looking for a little adventure in the Quad Cities, Snowstar’s new Sky Flyer zipline tour is just the thing to get your blood pumping.
Snow Star Ski Resort has long been known as the Quad Cities Premier winter sport destination, but now they are offering adventure all year round. The Sky tour takes you on an extreme adventure as you fly 100 feet above the ground reaching speeds over 35 mph. The dual zipline is one of the longest in the Midwest checking in at 1300 feet! The zip line gives riders a unique view of the park as they soar through the air, and is open year round.
To ride the zipline you must sign a waiver, weigh between 70 and 250 pounds, and wear closed toe shoes and a provided helmet.
The winter park boasts 15 ski and snowboard trails, 11 snow tubing lanes, and a massive terrain park, for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. It features 40-foot jumps, tubes, bars, rails, boxes, and even a staircase to navigate.
