The Getaway is surrounded with some of the Midwest’s most amazing parks and natural springs. The area is an absolute paradise for nature enthusiasts. As mentioned above Roaring River is  located nearby, there is also nearby fly fishing, a trout hatchery, numerous hiking trails, and even the famous Mark Twain National Forest is only 5 minutes away.
The treehouse is an authentic tiny-house treehouse built for 2 adult guests, although it can accommodate as many as four. If the Getaway looks familiar to you, that goes with reason as it has been featured in Southern Living and Bob Vila.
There are two single beds in the loft and a queen size sofa bed with memory gel foam topper on the main level for optional sleeping arrangements. The treehouse has one bathroom.
The treehouse and bath house are adjoined by a walkway bridge on a hillside. The heated jacuzzi bathhouse bathroom (adjoined by the walkway deck) has a jacuzzi bathtub and a picture window overlooking the hillside. It’s recommended to  bring slippers, house shoes, or slip on shoes for trips between treehouse and bathhouse.

There is free WIFI, and a WiFI/Bluetooth campble TV for streaming Netflix and You Tube. There is Pluto TV, but no cable or satellite channels. 
In the treehouse kitchenette, the owners have provided coffee, tea, spices, and cooking oil. If you would like to prepare food in the treehouse- There is a small toaster oven, single burner, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and coffee grinder. There is also basic cooking staples for your use.

The Getaway Treehouse is a magical place to become one with nature and getaway from all the problems and stress of the world. This is a great place for a romantic vacation as well as a hiking trip in the beautiful Missouri woods.
