Sunrise Beach in Lake Bluff Illinois is a hidden gem of a beach and recently ranked as the 54th best hidden beach in America. Sunrise Beach is located just 35 miles North of Chicago in Illinois. For more information, click here.

Swimming is only allowed when lifeguards are on duty. They are on duty daily from 9 am to 7 pm, and the beach closes at 10 pm. 

Use of the beach is FREE to Park District Residents. You must show your pass to the staff present at the beach entrance. This year, all residents will receive a Beach Membership pass, a state issued photo ID or driver’s license is required for beach entry. Staff will be on duty to collect fees, check beach passes and check dog beach tags until 10:00 PM. Please hold on to your receipt for possible spot checks during the day.

The Lake Bluff Park District no longer offers a non resident beach season pass however non residents can purchase daily passes.
