This incredible treehouse is built beneath an oak tree and two tall pines. Underneath the cabin is a hammock, which is an incredible place to escape the summer heat or just to relax after a fun day of adventure! Outside the property are large decks, one on the front and another out back. The decks are perfect for relaxing, grilling, and watching the sun set.
The treehouse has two bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and another with a single bed. There is also a common space with a queen sized bed, a sofa bed and a floor mattress. This stunning vacation home can comfortably sleep six adults!
The treehouse has one full bathroom, with a rock river set in the floor, a glass shower door where the rock tile continues, and an interesting sink made from a flowerpot and an old set of drawers.
There is also a full kitchen area with appliances! Outside the kitchen window is an herb garden for your gourmet cooking. Inside is a Cuisinart ice cream maker. Make sure you bring cream and your favorite toppings and look up recipes for your favorite ice cream!
The tree-house is located just a short walk from Lake Of Egypt, and the tree-house host provides a canoe, kayak, paddleboards, and a paddleboat! Fishing poles are also provided in the cabin. Just don’t forget your fishing license! Firewood is also provided for the outside firepit.
The area is a hotbed for outdoor adventure. Besides Lake of Egypt, there is incredible hiking, waterfalls, a fantastic zip-line course, a waterpark and so much more! Bork Falls, and Ferne Clyffe State Park are just a short drive away and offer a wonderful hiking experience. Combine that with great wineries bike paths, and the numerous southern Illinois festivals, and your sure to have plenty to keep you busy!
